Indian team prepares for future
After nailing the test series 3-0, Indian team is highly focused on the ODI series to prepare for the next world cup. Selection committee and captain himself has shown signs of seriousness by asking players to prove their worth to stay in the team for long. This also includes the likes of Dhoni who have to be on their toes for a place in the team
KL Rahul comes back to the squad and could bat down at number 4. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan would open the innings followed by Kohli at number 3. Dhoni can come down along with Kedar Jadhav followed by Hardik Pandya and the bowlers.

Sri Lanka struggles
Sri Lankan greats Ranatunga and Aravinda De Silva have raised concerns over the team. The team is languishing in the bottom half of ODI rankings struggling to find a place in the upcoming world cup. They have to win atleast two matches out of these five to stay in the race for the world cup that is to be played in 2019 in England.
The squad again looks weak in comparison to India. Hopefully the change of format brings some fortunes to Sri Lanka and fans can see some tough battle out there.
Prediction
Indian team look certain favourites here. If we need to give a straight prediction it seems India would comprehensively win the ODI series but narrowly lose to Sri Lanka in the T20 match. Wild guess! After all, cricket is a game of uncertainties.
